Ice Blasting

Masonry is generally a highly durable form of construction and is usually restorable after being smoke damaged. The most common materials used in masonry construction include brick, stone (such as granite, limestone and marble), and concrete block. Masonry is comparable to flat wall paint texture. Thorough preconditioning is important when restoring masonry surfaces. The more soot particles that are removed during the dry state, the fewer will be pushed into and absorbed by the masonry when wet cleaning or media blasting methods are applied to the surface.
